Whether you live here or are just visiting, getting cannabis delivered in San Diego is simple. Here’s what to know before you order.
Who Can Order
You must be 21 or older, or 18 or older with a valid medical recommendation. You don’t need to be a California resident. Visitors and tourists just need valid, legal ID, such as a driver’s license, passport, or other government-issued ID. This applies to international visitors too.
Orders Are Placed Online
All orders must be placed online. California requires track-and-trace compliance for every cannabis transaction, and online ordering keeps each order properly documented from start to finish.
Payment Is In Person
You pay when your order arrives, not online. We accept cash and debit cards only.
Never Pay in Advance
Never pay in advance for a cannabis delivery. Scams posing as legitimate delivery services are out there, and they often ask for payment up front through apps, gift cards, or wire transfers. Once you send money, it’s usually gone, and no order arrives. A legitimate service collects payment in person at delivery. If someone asks you to pay before your order shows up, walk away.
Delivery Times
Standard delivery takes 60 to 90 minutes. If you’re short on time, rush delivery is available for $20, with an ETA of 50 minutes or less.
Where We Deliver
We deliver to:
- Residences
- Hotels
- Vacation rentals
- Bars and nightclubs
We can’t deliver to public or government property, including parks, beaches, and government buildings.
Why Aren’t There Walk-In Dispensaries Downtown?
A San Diego city ordinance prohibits walk-in dispensaries within downtown proper, which is why you won’t find storefronts there. Delivery fills that gap, so you can get what you need wherever you’re staying downtown.
Delivery can also save you money. If you’d rather visit a brick-and-mortar dispensary outside the downtown city limits, you’d likely need a rideshare there and back, and those round-trip fares add up. Having your order brought to you skips the travel cost and the hassle.
